Welcome to DIY Guitar Effects, and thanks for visiting! On this site you'll find all the information you need to start building your very own guitar effects pedals and other simple projects. First off, before we begin, let's get a few things out of the way:
- The DIY (Do It Yourself) projects you'll find on this site range in difficulty from beginner to expert and are marked accordingly so you'll have a pretty good idea of what you're getting in to when you start a project
- Projects posted on this website are not guaranteed to work -so don't worry if you do everything right and it still doesn't work, it's probably not your fault
- This site is a non-commercial civilian operated site, so that means that any projects posted on this site are perfectly legal for personal use, however I must ask that you not use any of these projects for commercial use (i.e., making them and selling them)
- Any of the other project sites (<-- located over there) most likely contain copyrighted material and should also not be used for commercial purposes unless otherwise stated
- This site is in no way, shape, or form -as it were- affiliated with the afformentioned sites and cannot be held responsible for copyright infringement, offensive comments, lost luggage, that sort of thing; so don't contact me with complaints about the material on the other sites
- As I'm sure you're well aware, these projects cost money no matter how complicated or easy they are, so for your convenience I will -to the best of my ability- try to provide a rough price range for each project. However, when looking at the estimated price do not assume that that is the only price as there are many different parts suppliers out there and they all charge differently. Additionally, for your shopping convenience I have provided links to a few well known suppliers, also located over there <--
